Gregory Moore

Gregory Moore is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and management. Currently serving as the Controller at the YMCA of Greater Monmouth County since April 2024, Gregory has been an Accountant at Contemporary Motor Cars, Inc. since January 2020. Prior experience includes owning a Batteries Plus Bulbs franchise from May 2014 to March 2019, where responsibilities encompassed accounting operations, team management, and inventory control. Gregory also held the role of Associate Director at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) from August 2003 to March 2013, leading inspections and managing a team to ensure compliance with federal regulations. Prior to that, Gregory was a Partner at KPMG from September 1985 to August 2003, where Gregory established the internal audit services practice in New Jersey and coordinated audits for various industries. Gregory holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Monmouth University, earned between 1982 and 1984.
