Bob Swanson

In 2004, Bob started his career with Contemporary Services Corporation at the managers training program in Miami, Florida. While there, he worked Miami Dolphins, Florida Marlins, Miami Heat, University of Miami Football, Florida Atlantic Football, and multiple concerts and festivals.

When CSC was awarded the Iowa Events Center Contract in 2005, he was promoted to Branch Manager, opening the CSC Des Moines office. Bob also doubles as the Security Manager for the Iowa Events Center where he oversees, 24-hour security and event day security of Wells Fargo Arena, Hy-Vee Hall, and Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center at Veterans Memorial.

Since opening the Des Moines office Bob has been able to expand the branch operations to include Iowa State University, Drake University, Simpson College, 7 high schools, multiple festivals, and small concert halls.

Bob is a veteran of six college BCS bowls and two BCS National Championship Bowl games, two NBA Playoff runs including the Eastern Conference Finals, an NCAA Final Four and Championship game, an NBA-DL Championship, Ryder Cup, and 5 NFL Football Seasons. He has also aided CSC Kansas City with the opening of the New Arrowhead Stadium, and multiple stadium shows in Kansas City and Minneapolis.

In 2009, he received the CSC runner-up Manager of the Year Award, in 2010 he aided in managing the Des Moines office to Branch of the Year, and in 2011 was awarded CSC Branch Manager of the Year. Bob was also recognized by the Iowa Events Center as an employee of the month in June 2010.

Bob was promoted to his current position of Regional Manager in 2014. He oversees the Midwest offices of CSC located in Kansas City, MO, Des Moines, IA, Minneapolis, MN, and Madison, WI.

Bob graduated from Simpson College, with a BA in Business Management, and a Minor in Marketing with an emphasis in finance and insurance. During his four years at Simpson, he worked at Veterans Memorial Auditorium in the security department, working his way up to be named Director of Security for the facility.
