Mike Ramirez began his CSC career in 1988 as a Scheduler and Event Supervisor. In 1992, Mike became the Scheduling Manager and was quickly promoted to Operations Manager. In 2000, Mike was promoted to Assistant Branch Manager and two years later, he was promoted to Southern California Regional Manager. Prior to his CSC career, Mike worked for the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium where he started out as an Event Attendant in 1980 and was promoted to Supervisor for auditorium parking and concessions operations in 1983 and to Fiscal Staff Assistant in 1985. Mike oversaw parking and concession operations, assisted with supervision of city event personnel, enforced auditorium rules, and managed backstage credentialing.
In his current position as CSC’s Southern California Regional Manager, Mike is responsible for recruiting, training, licensing, client relations, security and staffing consulting, event planning, scheduling of all assignments, coordination of logistical needs and managing events. As the Regional Manager for Southern California, Mike also provides assistance and support to CSC’s Orange County, San Diego, and San Bernardino offices. Mike has coordinated and managed events for numerous venues including, Angel Stadium, Auto Club Speedway, CSU Long Beach, Dodger Stadium, Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, The Forum, Glen Helen Pavilion, Hollywood Bowl, Hollywood Palladium, StubHub Center, LA Historic Park, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Qualcomm Stadium, Santa Monica Air Center (Barker Hanger), Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, Super Bowl, UCLA Campus, Universal Studios Hollywood and White River Amphitheatre.
Additionally, Mike has coordinated large events and festivals such as, Beyond Wonderland, Big 4 Festival, Bullhead City River Regatta, Coachella Music and Arts Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, ESPN Summer X Games, Family Values Tour, 48 Hour Festival, Hootenanny, Masquerade Motel Festival, Mayhem Festival, Nocturnal Wonderland, NBA All-Star Jam, NHL All-Star Fantasy, Ozz Fest, Phish Festival 8, Rose Bowl Game, Rose Parade, Stagecoach Festival, Vans Warped Tour, Winter Gravity Games and World Cup Soccer. Mike also has experience with the coordination and management of televised shows including, Critics Choice Awards, ESPN Espy’s, MTV Movie Awards, Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards, Red Bull Stunt Awards, SAG Awards and VH1 Honors. Mike’s trade show coordination and management experience includes, American Film Market, Microsoft’s WinHec, Oprah’s O You Expo and E3 Electronic Gaming Expo.
