Nick Vaka

Nick Vaka has extensive work experience in the field of motion graphics, animation, and video production. Nick founded their own company, Animation Caffeinated, in 2007, where they worked as an independent consultant, motion graphics artist, and content marketer. Nick was responsible for conceiving and creating videos, campaign crafting and execution, writing, professional consultation, project management, and professional voiceover. Some of the notable clients they worked with include Black Entertainment Television, National Geographic Television, Deloitte, and Ernst & Young.

In 2012, Nick joined Visually as a Creative Director and Motion Graphics Artist. Nick worked on various projects, including producing animated motion graphics and videos for both internal and client use.

From 2014 to 2016, Nick worked as an Independent Motion Graphics Artist for Create Digital and Guidance Residential, where they created motion graphics for different projects.

In 2016, Nick became the Director of Visually Project Delivery and Senior Talent Manager at ScribbleLive. Nick managed a pool of creative freelancers, recruited potential animators and script writers, and produced motion graphics and videos. Nick also provided support to account executives during the presale process.

In 2019, Nick joined Rock Content as the Global Principal - Audio/Video. Nick served as a subject matter expert for video and audio, empowered the sales team to discuss video and audio offerings, and provided creative direction on key accounts. Nick also mentored other specialists and created educational collateral.

Nick Vaka attended the Art Institute of Washington from 2001 to 2005, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Media Arts and Animation. Additionally, in March 2012, they obtained the certification of Adobe Certified Expert / ACE: After Effects from Pearson Vue.
