Alexis McLaughlin

Alexis McLaughlin is an experienced freelance writer and educator with a robust background in producing educational materials for various grade levels. Since June 2018, Alexis has been working with MPS Publishing and Westchester Publishing Services, developing comprehensive lesson plans and teacher guides for grade-specific Readers' Workshops and various English Language Arts curricula. Alexis has also served as a writer for Integra - Chicago, creating online slide presentations, and as an educational writer for Cenveo Publisher Services and Contentra Technologies, where work focused on Language Arts materials and test preparation. Additional freelance endeavors include writing quiz questions for younger learners with Tighe and producing interactive vocabulary lessons with Snappet Connected Learning. Alongside a strong writing career, Alexis has been a group fitness instructor for the City of Kettering since 2008, holding relevant certifications in fitness training. Academic qualifications include a Master's Degree and a Bachelor's Degree, both in English Language and Literature from the University of Dayton, complemented by a licensure in English/Language Arts education.
