Jerry (Ruijie)

Jerry (Ruijie) Ma has a diverse range of work experience in the field of data analysis and machine learning. Jerry (Ruijie) currently works as a UX Data Analyst at Contentsquare since 2022. In 2021, they worked as a Technical Lead at STEM-Away, where they utilized machine learning to build a solution for Search Engine Optimization on Bioinformatics. In this role, they automated ETL processes, designed and implemented a real-time data pipeline, and collaborated with an international team. Prior to that, they were a Data Analyst Intern at Efortles Inc in 2020, where they leveraged their training from Harvard Business School Analytics course to create machine learning models, mine and clean data, and analyze the efficiency of different algorithms.

Jerry (Ruijie) Ma completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree in Economics from Boston University, attending from 2014 to 2018. Following that, they pursued their Master of Science (MS) degree in Management of Technology from New York University, from 2020 to 2021. Alongside their formal education, Jerry obtained several certifications to enhance their skills. Some of these certifications include Tableau Desktop Advanced Functions from Mydral in March 2023, SQL (Intermediate) from HackerRank in April 2022, and Microsoft Azure Machine Learning for Data Scientists from Coursera in November 2021. Furthermore, they acquired certifications such as SQL for Data Science and Tableau Desktop Specialist in 2021. Earlier, in 2020, Jerry completed the Business Analytics certification from Harvard Business School Online and the IBM Data Science Specialization from Coursera.
