Vincent Cavaillé-Coll

Vincent Cavaillé-Coll has a diverse work experience in various roles related to data engineering and project management. Vincent currently works at Contentsquare as the Team Lead - Data & Software Engineering, where they lead an engineering team in developing a new product and data platform. In addition to managing the team and roadmap, they also assist the product team with features, strategy, and competition analysis.

Prior to that, Vincent worked at Vestiaire Collective as the Lead Data Engineer, where they helped the company become data-driven by increasing the volume of useful data by 1000% and enabling cross-source analyses. Vincent played a key role in defining the enterprise Data Stack Architecture.

Previously, Vincent worked at Bpifrance as a Big Data Engineer, where they were responsible for data engineering tasks, including architecture, development of the Big Data platform, and defining data import and partitioning strategies.

At ING Bank France, Vincent worked as a Data Engineer, focusing on improving technical performance and client knowledge by migrating batch ETL processes to a distributed solution and implementing a NoSQL solution for faster processing of banking transactions.

Before that, Vincent worked as a Consultant MOE & Project Manager at Devoteam, where they contributed to the deployment of BMC Remedy ITSM 7.6 for SANOFI.

Vincent also gained experience at BNP Paribas, where they provided technical and functional support on the incident module of BMC Remedy ITSM 7.6 as part of the MOA Projet.

Additionally, Vincent worked at Bouygues Bâtiment Ile-de-France, where they optimized server space and led the change management process for migrating key services to a new GED tool.

Vincent Cavaillé-Coll completed their education from 2008 to 2013 at EFREI - Grande école du numérique, where they obtained a Master 2 degree in Ingénierie en informatique. In addition to their academic qualifications, Vincent also has several certifications. Vincent completed the "Cassandra - Data Modeling" certification from DataStax and the "Hadoop Fundamentals" and "Introduction to Apache Pig" certifications from Big Data University, all in 2016. Vincent also completed the "Introduction to Apache Spark" certification from edX in the same year.
