Director Virtual Care Unit at Contessa

Nicole Ferguson has worked in various roles since 2011. Nicole began their career as a Head Volleyball Coach at Alliance Volleyball Club in 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Pharmacology Tutor at Aquinas College. In 2013, they worked as an RN at Erlanger Health System in the Vascular and Medicine Unit. In 2014, they worked as an RN in the Stepdown Surgical Special Care Unit (Cardiac) at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in roles such as an RNII-CC in the TVC Chemotherapy Infusion Clinic and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), and as a Patient Advocate, Educator, and Holistic Care provider. In 2019, they worked as an RN Team Lead at Onlife Health and as a Director, Manager, and Team Lead at Contessa Health in the Virtual Care Unit.

Nicole Ferguson obtained an Associate of Science - AS in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Aquinas College between 2011 and 2013. Nicole then obtained a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Arkansas at Monticello between 2006 and 2010. In 2013, they obtained a Registered Nurse certification from the Tennessee Department of Health. In 2018, they obtained an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Experienced Provider (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association and in 2020, they obtained a Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
