Rachel Fleming has over 8 years of work experience in the healthcare field. Rachel began their career in 2011 as a Substitute School Nurse for the Olathe School District. In 2012, they took on two part-time roles, Federal Occupational Health Nurse, PRN for Defense Support Services, and Registered Nurse, PRN for Metro Spine & Rehab, PA. In 2013, they started as a Home Health Registered Nurse for Carondelet Health. In 2018, they became a Registered Nurse for Compassionate Care Hospice. In 2019, they took on two roles, Hospice RN Case Manager for Evergreen Community of Johnson County and RN Case Manager for Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care. Rachel Fleming has a comprehensive educational background. Rachel obtained an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Registered Nursing from Johnson County Community College in 2010. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Social Sciences from Florida Atlantic University in 1996. Rachel also earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Liberal Arts from Broward College in 1992. Additionally, Rachel has obtained seven certifications, including Registered Nurse certifications from the New York State Board of Nursing (2022), Minnesota State Board of Nursing (2022), Kansas State Board of Nursing (2010), Michigan Board of Nursing (2021), Missouri Board of Nursing (2012), and Washington State Board of Nursing (2022). Rachel also holds a BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association and a Wound Treatment Associate certification from the WOC Nursing Certification Board.
