Lydia Byrne

Lydia Byrne is a freelance interpreter currently engaged with translation.ie and Context Ltd. since November and December 2022, respectively. As an Associate Member of the Irish Translators' and Interpreters' Association, Lydia contributes to the field of translation and interpretation. Previous roles include serving as an English Language Teacher at The International School of English and as a Service Assistant at Brickworks Student Accommodation. Lydia has also held receptionist positions at Harcourt Health Dental Clinic and AXIS Capital, and a Project Assistant role at AIB, focusing on customer service and administrative support. With a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Languages and Global Communication from University College Cork and a Higher Certificate in Culinary Arts/Chef Training from Technological University Dublin, Lydia brings diverse expertise to the language services sector.
