Philip Kantoff

Dr. Kantoff has served as a member of the board of directors since December of 2018. Dr. Kantoff is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Convergent Therapeutics, a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company focused on developing next-generation radiopharmaceutical therapies for prostate and other cancers. Previously, Dr. Kantoff served as the Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, which is the leading development and testing center for novel cancer therapies. He also served as Director of The Lank Center for Genitourinary Oncology, Chief of the Division of Solid Tumor Oncology, Vice-Chair of the Department of Medical Oncology, and Chair of the Executive Committee on Clinical Research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He is the Jerome and Nancy Kohlberg Professor Emeritus at Harvard Medical School. He is a member of numerous professional societies and editorial boards. Dr. Kantoff has published more than 500 research articles on a variety of topics and has been cited over 76,000 times, written nearly 100 reviews and monographs on cancer, and has edited numerous books, including Prostate Cancer, A Multi-Disciplinary Guide published by Blackwell, and Prostate Cancer: Principles and Practice, a definitive text on prostate cancer. The Company has determined that Dr. Kantoff’s medical and business background make him a qualified member of the board of directors.
