Robert Bell is a Doctoral Fellow at New York University since August 2015, where original qualitative research is conducted on Iranian political-economic history using critical methodologies of the humanities and social sciences. In addition to effectively communicating research outcomes through multimedia tools, Robert has received training in grant funding procurement and is the recipient of the NYU MacCracken Fellowship. Concurrently, Robert serves as a Docent at Context Travel, creating and marketing educational content about New York City's urban history. Previous experience includes positions as a Research Assistant at Princeton University, College Assistant at The Graduate Center of CUNY, and Editor at the McGill Journal of Middle East Studies. Robert holds a Ph.D. in History from New York University, as well as an MA in Middle Eastern Studies from The Graduate Center, CUNY, and a BA in Middle East Studies from McGill University.
