Preston Maynard has a diverse work experience. Preston started their career as a Food Server at Hyatt Hotels Corporation in 2013 and held this position until 2020. In 2019, they transitioned to the role of an IT Analyst at Hyatt Regency Austin and worked there until 2020. Following their time at Hyatt, Preston joined Contigo Technology in 2020 as a Desktop Support Technician and later took on the role of Help Desk Support Technician. In 2021, they became a Client Success Manager at Contigo, and eventually was promoted to Lead Client Success Manager in 2022, the position they currently hold.

Preston Maynard earned an Associate's degree in Cultural Anthropology from Pasco-Hernando State College from 2007 to 2010.
