Julian Atienza

Julian Atienza is a seasoned software leader with extensive experience in the technology and research sectors. Currently serving as Software Lead at Contilio since January 2023, Julian contributes to the development of an advanced 3D AI analytics platform aimed at improving efficiencies in the built environment. Julian's prior tenure at Oxford Nanopore Technologies Ltd from October 2013 to November 2022 involved establishing a robust Instrument Software Group and leading multiple teams in software development. Additionally, experience as a Senior Software Engineer at the Medical Research Council and a Software Engineer at the University of Oxford showcases Julian's expertise in developing tools and systems for data analysis and visualization. Julian holds a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca.
