James Farrell

James Farrell has a diverse work experience. James is currently working at Continent 8 Technologies as the Head of Support, where they lead a team of engineers and manages customer SLAs. Prior to this, they worked as a Network Analyst at Continent8 Technologies. James also has experience working at Amazon, where they served as a Technical Program Manager and a Network Deployment Engineer, responsible for scaling and deploying network infrastructure globally. James worked at eir Ireland as a Network Implementation and Deployment Engineer and later as a Technical Projects Manager, where they were involved in the deployment of aggregation routers and capacity reporting for the NGA platform. Earlier in their career, James worked at Citco Fund Services as an IT Helpdesk Support Engineer and was self-employed as a Construction Project Manager in the residential sector. James also has experience working at Intel Ireland as a Process/Equipment Engineer, where they were a part of the new CWW Engineering team and took ownership of tool equipment in the lithography area.

James Farrell has a strong educational background in technology and engineering. James began their education in 1996 at Maynooth University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Experimental Physics. This course lasted until 2000. Afterwards, James furthered their studies at the same university and obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Electronic Engineering, which they completed between 2009 and 2011.
