Kristian Valenta

Kristian Valenta has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Kristian is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Continent 8 Technologies since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President at Novacap from August 2014 until September 2022. Additionally, they were a Board Member at Syntax from June 2016 to August 2022. Valenta also held positions as a Board Observer at Dialogic from November 2014 to March 2019, Octasic from November 2015 to December 2018, Firmex from July 2016 to June 2017, and Chemical Computing Group from February 2016 to April 2017. Before these roles, they worked as a Senior Analyst at KPMG Canada from May 2012 to August 2014, and as an Entitlements Analyst at The Canadian Depository for Securities Limited (CDS) in 2010.

Kristian Valenta has a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm) degree in Honours Finance from Concordia University. Kristian also holds a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in Commerce from Marianopolis College. Before that, they completed their high school education at Selwyn House School, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Additionally, Kristian has obtained the Canadian Securities Course certification from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI).
