Farzad Hosseini has a diverse work experience in the field of hardware and software development. Farzad currently serves as the Head of Hardware and Software Development at Continental Aerospace Technologies™ since January 2023. Farzad started their career as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter (Research Assistant) at Technische Universität Hamburg Harburg (TUHH) from May 2009 to May 2013, where they focused on research in active and passive electrodes for medical applications and developed integrated CMOS circuits. Farzad also worked at Acculogic GmbH as a Research and Hardware Development professional from June 2006 to April 2009, and at Scorpion Technologies AG as a Research and Hardware Development professional from April 2005 to May 2006. Furthermore, Farzad gained experience as a Werkstudent (Student Assistant) at Philips Semiconductors GmbH from June 2004 to March 2005, where they worked on the development of special instruments and methodologies for quality analysis of integrated circuits. Farzad began their career at CASIO Europe GmbH as a Studentische Hilfskraft (Student Assistant) in customer service and support from January 2001 to May 2004, where they were involved in the service and repair of various electronic devices.

Farzad Hosseini completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics at Täbriz Universität from 1992 to 1997. Farzad then pursued further education at Hamburg University of Technology, where they obtained a Diplom (Master) Ing. degree in Nanoelectronics and Microsystems from 2001 to 2008.
