James Foster has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. James started their career as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at West Wind Aviation in 2008 and later moved on to Kreos Aviation as a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. In 2013, they joined Redhead Equipment as a Journeyman Agricultural Machinery Technician. Afterwards, they served as the President and PRM at Black Hawk Aviation Ltd. from 2015 to 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Product Support Engineer at Continental Aerospace Technologies™ since September 2019.
James Foster attended Okanagan College from 2006 to 2008, where they studied Aircraft Maintenance Engineering with a focus on the M license. During their time at Okanagan College, they did not obtain a degree. Additionally, James has obtained several certifications, including an A&P License from the Federal Aviation Administration in April 2021, a Journeyman Agricultural Machinery Technician certification from the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission in June 2016, and a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer M1/M2 certification from Transport Canada in August 2010.
