Thomas Wünsch has extensive work experience in various management roles in the aerospace and automotive industries.
Thomas began their career in 2003 as the Head of Quality at Kögel AG, where they stayed until 2004. Thomas then moved to SAXAS Nutzfahrzeuge AG, where they held the position of Head of Quality from 2004 to 2006. After that, they joined TTB AG as the Head of Quality from 2006 to 2007.
In 2007, Wünsch took on a role at ThyssenKrupp Presta Chemnitz as the Head of Quality until 2009. During this time, they also became responsible for Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, and Change Management. Thomas gained expertise in SixSigma and Lean Production.
Wünsch then transitioned to Siemens AG in 2015, where they served as the Director of Manufacturing until 2019.
In 2019, Wünsch joined Continental Aerospace Technologies™ as the Managing Director. Thomas later assumed the additional roles of Head of Business: Continental Germany, Vice President, Managing Director in 2020 and Executive Vice President EMEA & Managing Director in 2022.
Thomas Wünsch began their education in 1998 at Fachoberschule für Technik Zwickau, where they obtained their Fachhochschulreife degree in Technik in 1999. Afterwards, they attended the University of Applied Sciences at Zwickau from 1999 to 2003 and earned a Diplom Ingenieur degree in Maschinenbau.
