Steve Ayers has a diverse and extensive work experience in the banking industry. Steve started their career at Zions Bank as a Credit Analyst and Commercial Loan Officer, where they managed a portfolio and underwrote commercial credits. Steve then moved on to AmericanWest Bank as a Vice President - Commercial Officer, where they developed a commercial loan portfolio from scratch. At Bank of Utah, they worked as a Commercial Loan Officer - Vice President, managing a commercial loan portfolio and handling troubled assets. Steve then joined Prime Alliance Bank as a Lease Manager - Vice President, where they managed a leasing portfolio and a team of credit analysts and underwriters. Steve Ayers also worked at Capital Community Bank as a Vice President, Commercial Officer, overseeing commercial relationships and implementing new financial spreading and underwriting software. Steve later joined GrowthFunding Equipment Finance / Bank of American Fork / Altabank as a VP Lease Credit and Syndication Officer, gaining expertise in commercial lending, leasing, and credit analysis. Steve Ayers earned an Associate's degree in Business/Commerce from Salt Lake Community College in 1998. Steve then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business, which they completed in 1999. In 2014 and 2016, they attended Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington and also obtained an Extension Certificate in Executive Leadership from the University of Washington.
