Stephan Hakuli started their work experience in 2005 as a Research Fellow at Technische Universität Darmstadt. Stephan then worked at IPG Automotive GmbH from 2011 to 2015 as a Product Manager for Engineering Services. Taking a sabbatical and parental leave, they returned to work in 2016 at Continental Engineering Services. At Continental, they held the positions of Senior Manager Virtual Vehicle Test from 2016 to 2019 and currently serves as the Head of Virtual Testing & Simulation.

Stephan Hakuli completed their education from 1998 to 2005 at Technische Universität Darmstadt, where they obtained a degree in Diplom-Ingenieur. Stephan'sfield of study during this time was focused on Physics.
