Thomas Volk has a range of work experience in various roles and companies. Thomas started their career as an Internship Student at Krones Machinery Co. Ltd. in 2006. Then, they worked at Knorr-Bremse as a System Engineer from 2008 to 2011 and later served as a Project Manager for High-Speed Trains from 2011 to 2015. From 2016 to 2019, Thomas worked at Knorr-Bremse as the Head of Serial Design & Development Discs/Pads. Currently, they are employed at Continental Engineering Services where they first held the position of Senior Manager for Network (HPC, Gateway,..) CES Markdorf from 2019 to 2023. After that, they became the Head of Location R&D CES Markdorf in 2022 and is currently serving as the Head of Project Management since 2023.
