F.J. Trzuskowski has a diverse work experience in the floral industry. Starting in 1994, F.J. Trzuskowski worked as the Sales-USA for Baardse BV, where they oversaw North American sales and developed key relationships with growers and suppliers. In 1998, F.J. Trzuskowski founded FJT International Limited, serving as a floral industry consultant and establishing relationships with growers in North and South America as well as Holland. In 2000, F.J. Trzuskowski founded Cultivars Incorporated, where they developed a unique boxed delivery presentation for shipping flowers and expanded their customer base nationwide. F.J. Trzuskowski then joined Stems & Bunches as an Equity Partner, working on a web-based application for flower growers and developing relationships with customers. In 2005, F.J. Trzuskowski joined Teleflora as the Director of Grower Relations and Logistics, responsible for managing grower partners and determining pricing strategy. In 2012, F.J. Trzuskowski became a Founding Member of Verde Consulting LLC, and in 2015, they became the Vice President of Sales at Continental Floral Greens. In 2019, F.J. Trzuskowski joined the International Fresh Produce Association as a Floral Council Member, and in 2022, they became a Board Member of the Society of American Florists.

F.J. Trzuskowski began their education at Salesianum in 1979, where they completed their high school education. From 1983 to 1987, they attended Duke University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Botany. After completing their undergraduate studies, from 1988 to 1990, they pursued a Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture at North Carolina State University, focusing on the Design/Build Process.
