Richard Urash

Richard Urash is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Staff Exploration Geologist for Continental Resources since April 2023, Richard previously held managerial roles at Chesapeake Energy, leading geoscience teams for the Eagle Ford and Marcellus business units. Richard's key accomplishments include the development of multi-million dollar appraisal programs, enabling strategic decisions on asset sales and reinvestment strategies through multi-disciplinary evaluations. Richard began their career at TerraTek, specializing in petrologic characterization, and possesses a strong academic background with a PhD in Geology from the University of Utah, complemented by a Master's degree from Auburn University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Utah.
