Shaun Martin

Shaun Martin is a seasoned professional in the field of petroleum engineering, currently serving as a Staff Production Engineer at Continental Resources since May 2023. Martin has extensive experience, having held various leadership positions at Vital Energy from December 2013 to April 2023, including Director of Production Engineering, Production Engineering Manager, and Development Planning Engineer - Operations. Prior experience includes roles as an Operations Engineer in Production & Completions at XTO Energy and internships with Halliburton as a Completions & Cementing Engineer Intern and El Paso Corporation as a Production Engineer Intern. Martin began a career in the US Army, serving as a Counterintelligence Agent from 2004 to 2008. Martin holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University, earned between 2008 and 2012.
