Michelle Karg

Michelle Karg is a Senior Expert in Machine Learning for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) at Continental since August 2015, focusing on deep learning for object detection and innovative network architectures. Prior experience includes serving as a Machine Learning Expert at Halla DAS Lab Europe, developing algorithms for traffic sign recognition, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Waterloo, specializing in machine learning for human movement analysis in rehabilitation and sports. Karg has also worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Technische Universität München, a Software Developer at Willtek Communications, and held research positions at the University of North Texas and NXN Software AG. Karg holds a Diplom-Ingenieur and a Dr.-Ing. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Munich and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Waterloo.
