Rachid Koucha

Rachid Koucha is a seasoned software designer and architect with extensive experience in embedded systems and software development across various companies and industries. Currently employed at Kontron Transportation since July 2024, Rachid focuses on the BTS-railways project, specifically designing and porting device drivers and kernel mode applications from VxWorks version 6. Prior to this role, Rachid has contributed to Continental as a software designer and architect, specializing in Linux embedded on ARM boards using Yocto and Buildroot. Rachid's career includes significant positions at Estella Consulting, Nokia, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, Nortel, and others, with a strong emphasis on kernel modules, device drivers, and software quality. Rachid holds an engineer's degree in computer sciences from EPITA and a DUT in physical measurements from Université Paris-Est Créteil.
