Roland Welzbacher

Roland Welzbacher is an experienced finance and business leader with a significant background in the tire industry. Currently serving as CFO of Tires at Continental since September 2012, Roland also oversees the Tires Replacement Business for the South Region and the OEM Aftersales Business in EMEA, while being a member of the Management Board for the Business Unit Tires Replacement EMEA. Prior to this role, Roland was the CEO at Semperit Reifen GmbH, leading the Tire Replacement Business in Austria, and held multiple financial roles, including CFO at Profi Reifen- und Autoservice GmbH and Manager of Mergers & Acquisitions at Continental. Roland's career also includes founding Concord Corporate Finance GmbH and serving as a Consultant for Mergers & Acquisitions at Hypo Consult GmbH. Roland holds dual MBAs in Business Administration from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
