Thomas Renner

Thomas Renner is an experienced professional in category management, currently serving as the Senior Category Manager for Electronics and Capacitors at Continental since 2017. In this role, Thomas leads an international team of six buyers across four countries and oversees a significant purchasing value responsibility of approximately 300 million euros per annum for all capacitors and related stakeholders worldwide. Prior to joining Continental, Thomas held several key positions at Amazon from 2013 to 2017, including Vendor Manager roles, and worked at Giesecke+Devrient as a Customer Project Manager from 2010 to 2013. Thomas holds a Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur in Mechanical Engineering from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and has also studied at the University of Sydney.
