Tom Salmon

Tom Salmon is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as a Staff Engineer at Continental since January 2019. Prior to this role, Tom had an extensive career at Ford Motor Company from April 1988 to December 2018, where various positions included Electronic Brake Controls Development Supervisor, Roll Stability Control Supervisor, Windstar/Freestar Brake Systems Supervisor, and Plant Vehicle Team Vehicle Engineering Supervisor. Tom's experience encompasses the development of electronic brake controls, vehicle stability systems, and comprehensive brake system components, as well as oversight of Body & Chassis systems for the 1996 - 1999 Mustangs. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Michigan, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University.
