Jas Rayat has over 30 years of experience in finance and management, currently serving as the Director of Finance for the Continuing Legal Education Society of BC since September 2015. Prior to this role, Jas held the position of Director of Finance at Arts Umbrella from March 2012 to August 2015 and served as Director at Jas Rayat Inc. from January 2009 to February 2012. Additional experience includes extensive financial leadership positions at Plug Power Canada Inc./Cellex Power Products Inc. from 2001 to 2008, where progression to Director of Finance occurred, as well as serving as Group Controller at Wilken Group between 1993 and 2001, and as an Associate in Assurance Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1988 to 1993. Educational credentials include a BSc.(Hons) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nairobi, obtained between 1985 and 1988.
