Elwyn Malethan

Elwyn Malethan has a diverse background in the technology industry, with experience in platform development, product management, and software engineering. Elwyn is currently serving as the Vice President of Platform Development at Continuum Media, a position they have held since November 2021. Prior to this, Elwyn worked as the Director of Platform Development at Continuum Media from November 2018 to November 2021.

Before joining Continuum Media, Elwyn worked at Sorenson Media as the Director of Product Management from July 2013 to October 2018. In this role, they oversaw the support, maintenance, and strategic development of a linear TV media buying platform. Elwyn also worked closely with stakeholders and development teams to deliver new features and analyze performance metrics.

Elwyn also has experience at Xumo, where they served as a Product Manager from September 2012 to July 2013. Elwyn collaborated with Panasonic to integrate Xumo technology into their Smart TVs and iOS devices. Prior to this, they were a Software Engineering Manager at Xumo from March 2011 to September 2012, leading an Agile Scrum team in developing early prototypes for Smart TV applications.

Earlier in their career, Elwyn worked as a Senior Java Developer at NetDev Ltd from October 2010 to March 2011. Elwyn also gained experience at Move Networks as a Software Developer from December 2009 to September 2010, where they developed IPTV software for set-top boxes and PC/Mac applications.

Elwyn's career began at Imaginet Ltd in June 2000, where they joined as a Software Developer and eventually led the R&D team. Elwyn remained with the company until August 2004.

Additionally, Elwyn has entrepreneurial experience as the Managing Director of Beanlogic Limited from August 2004 to November 2008.

Elwyn Malethan attended Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science. Additionally, in May 2012, they obtained a Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance. In January 2013, Elwyn Malethan also earned the Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from Scrum Alliance.
