Bhakti Halkude

Bhakti Halkude has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries.

Bhakti is currently working at CONTINUUS Pharmaceuticals, where they hold the position of Associate Director and Head of Drug Product. Bhakti joined the company in January 2023 and their tenure is ongoing. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Manager from December 2021 to December 2022, and as an Engineering Manager for Drug Product from September 2019 to December 2021. Bhakti'sfirst role at CONTINUUS Pharmaceuticals was as a Drug Product Engineer, which they held from August 2017 to September 2019.

Before joining CONTINUUS Pharmaceuticals, Bhakti gained experience at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as a Co Op. Bhakti worked at the Novartis-MIT Center for Continuous Manufacturing from August 2016 to July 2017. Bhakti'sresponsibilities included optimizing process parameters for novel manufacturing technologies, conducting mechanical and stability tests, and analyzing the effects of different factors on the manufacturing process.

Bhakti also has internship experience at VARROC GROUP, where they researched production defects and implemented solutions to reduce failure rates and cycle times. Additionally, they interned at INDO GERMAN TOOL ROOM in both design roles, using CATIA and AutoCAD software.

Overall, Bhakti Halkude has a strong background in drug product development and optimization, as well as experience in manufacturing process improvement and design.

Bhakti Halkude holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Engineering Management from Northeastern University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad. In addition to their formal education, Bhakti has obtained certifications in AutoCAD and CATIA from INDO GERMAN TOOL ROOM. They have also completed a Lean Green Belt certification from the Institute of Industrial Engineers and a certification in Power and Energy from Endress+Hauser Aurangabad, India.
