Jason Whipp

Jason Whipp has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Jason is currently working as the Senior Director and Head of IT at CONTINUUS Pharmaceuticals since July 2022. Prior to this, they were employed at Lantheus, where they held multiple positions. Jason served as the Director of IT Infrastructure, Operations, and Support from September 2021 to July 2022, overseeing IT service delivery for a complex manufacturing company. Before that, they were the Associate Director of IT Infrastructure and Security from July 2018 to September 2021, where they managed vendor relationships, upgraded key systems, and implemented information security improvements. From April 2014 to July 2018, they worked as the System Operations Manager, leading cross-vendor teams and designing infrastructure solutions. Jason started their tenure at Lantheus as the Senior Information Management Analyst, a role they held from January 2008 to April 2014. Additionally, Jason worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb as a Principal Analyst from January 2002 to January 2008, managing infrastructure and supporting IT strategy. Jason began their career as a Systems Analyst at Duport Pharmaceuticals from September 1998 to January 2002, where they managed server systems, supported web servers, and installed network infrastructure. Prior to that, they worked as an IT Technician at CompuWorks Systems, Inc. from September 1997 to September 1998 and as a Technology Manager at Byrom Consultants Ltd (UK) from March 1993 to August 1997.

Jason Whipp obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained several certifications in the field of information security. In 2017, they completed the CISSP Cert Prep program on LinkedIn, which covered various topics such as security and risk management, asset security, security engineering, communication and network security, identity and access management, security assessment and testing, security operations, and software development security. Jason also completed the IT Security Foundations: Core Concepts course on LinkedIn in the same year. Most recently, in 2021, they obtained certifications in information security governance, information risk management, information security program development and management, information security incident management, and the basics of CISM Cert Prep.
