Walter Baumann

Walter Baumann is an experienced professional in consulting, business development, and M&A, currently serving as the CEO of Viravaxx AG and Adina Apartment Hotels, as well as a managing director at Contorion. With a background as a managing director and partner at EY from 1991 to 2014, Walter has also held managerial roles at Bank Austria Creditanstalt S.A. and serves on several boards, including as chairman of the supervisory board at Welser Profile. Walter is an observer member of the advisory board at planqc and the representative of the Austrian Branch for Honda Motor Europe Ltd. They hold doctoral degrees in Business Administration and Law from WU Vienna and the University of Vienna, respectively, completing their education in 1976 and 1978.
