Jorge M. has over 18 years of work experience, with a focus on finance and corporate transformation. Jorge spent the last 6 years working at ContourGlobal, where they served as Director Finance Transformation, overseeing the implementation of structure and process changes to optimize the finance organization. Prior to that, they held the position of Corporate Controller / Interim CFO, where they managed the integration of new business acquisitions into the group and coordinated monthly and quarterly financial performance reporting. At ContourGlobal, they also worked as a Senior Manager in Project Corporate Finance, leading initiatives to maximize the efficiency of the finance function through the use of technology.

Before joining ContourGlobal, Jorge M. worked at PwC as a Senior Manager and at BearingPoint as a Manager. Jorge began their career at Klee Performance as a Senior Consultant, specializing in consolidation and reporting.

Jorge M. pursued their undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering ICAI from Universidad Pontificia Comillas, studying there from 1995 to 2001. In 2000, they had the opportunity to study at Ecole Centrale de Paris and obtained an Ingenieur Economiste degree, which they completed in 2001. After a break in their education, Jorge M. returned to academia in 2010 and completed a Master's degree at Enerclub in 2011. Their field of study during their Master's degree focused on the Energy and Utilities industry.
