Mario Gallegos

Mario Gallegos has extensive work experience in the finance and accounting industry. Mario currently serves as the CFO for Mexico at ContourGlobal since 2020. Prior to this, Mario held the position of Director of Accounting and Finance at Diamond Generating Corporation Mexico, where they oversaw daily accounting operations and collaborated closely with the company's president from 2014 to 2020. Mario also worked as a Senior Manager at KPMG Mexico, where they coordinated and executed full-scope audit engagements for clients in consumer products and manufacturing industries from 2013 to 2014. Moreover, they served as a Senior Manager in the Audit department at KPMG Canada, where they focused on clients in the mining industry from 2011 to 2013. Before that, Mario worked as a Manager at KPMG Mexico, leading audit engagements for consumer products and manufacturing clients from 2009 to 2011. Mario started their career at KPMG US as a Senior Associate in the Audit department, where they managed audit engagements for clients across various industries from 2005 to 2008. Mario began their professional journey as an Audit Senior at KPMG Mexico from 2000 to 2004.

Mario Gallegos has a diverse education history. In 1982, they started their high school education at Colegio Cristobal Colon and completed it in 1996. Following their high school graduation, from 1996 to 2000, Gallegos pursued a Bachelor of Accounting degree at Tecnológico de Monterrey, focusing on finance. More recently, in 2022 and 2023, they attended the IPADE Business School, participating in their Management Development Program - D1 and studying business administration and management in general.
