Bob Atlas is an experienced fire service professional and entrepreneur with a career spanning over two decades. As a Co-Founder and Manager at Fire Alumni since 2011, Bob has contributed significantly to the organization. Concurrently, since 1999, Bob has served as a Battalion Chief with the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District, showcasing a commitment to public safety. Additionally, Bob co-owned the Public Safety Training Group from July 2008 to September 2013, further emphasizing expertise in fire training and management. Bob holds an Associate of Science in Fire Science from Asia-Pacific International University and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Industrial Technology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, complemented by a high school diploma from Norwood High.

Contra Costa County Fire Protection District is a recognized fire service leader providing fire and emergency medical services to nearly a million people across a 304 square-mile area, in and around the 19 cities of Contra Costa County, California. In 2017, the District responded to nearly 74,000 fire and EMS emergencies and provided expert medical care in the conduct of more than 75,000 ambulance transports. The District, with 25 fire stations and nearly 400 employees, is dedicated to the preservation of life, property and the environment.
