Chris Bachman

Chris Bachman serves as the Chief Financial Officer for FM, leveraging extensive experience in fire service leadership. Currently, Chris holds the position of Assistant Chief at Contra Costa County Fire Protection District, overseeing the Fire Prevention Bureau and various divisions dedicated to community safety. Previously, Chris worked as Deputy Chief at Pike Township Fire Department and Mid-County Fire Protection District, managing budgets, labor relations, and operational planning. Chris began the fire service career as a Captain at Lexington Fire Department, focusing on training and fire prevention education. Academically, Chris holds a Master's degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from Georgetown University and certifications in fire officer training from the University of Missouri-Columbia, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Eastern Illinois University.
