David Watson

Assistant Chief, Training And Safety at Contra Costa County Fire Protection District

David Watson has extensive experience in emergency services, currently serving as the Assistant Chief of Training and Safety at the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District since October 2005, where responsibilities include managing the District’s rescue program. In addition, David Watson holds multiple roles within FEMA USAR CA Task Force 4 as Task Force Leader and Deputy Rescue Team Manager, while also acting as a rescue specialist since 2011. Watson contributes to Northern California Rescue Training as an instructor since 2012. Academically, David Watson holds a Master of Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine Law, a Master’s degree from the Pepperdine University School of Public Policy, and a Bachelor's degree from Pepperdine University.
