Adam Nguyen

Adam Nguyen currently serves as the County Finance Director for Contra Costa County, a position held since February 2022. Prior to this role, Adam spent nearly 16 years at the City and County of San Francisco, where Adam held various leadership positions, including Director of Finance and Planning in the City Administrator's Office. Responsibilities included overseeing divisions for Accounting, Budget and Planning, administering a $552 million budget, and leading strategic planning initiatives. Adam's earlier experience includes serving as a Fiscal Manager and Senior Analyst for the Human Services Agency and volunteering with the Peace Corps in Kenya from 2003 to 2005. Adam holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
