Harleen Kaur Sandhu

Harleen Kaur Sandhu, MPH, is a dedicated public health professional with extensive experience in health education and workforce development. Currently serving as a Senior Health Education Specialist for Contra Costa County since September 2019, Harleen focuses on chronic disease prevention through policy and environmental change, chairs the County Nutrition Action Partnerships, and provides technical assistance for various community organizations. Prior to this, Harleen worked as a Youth Workforce Specialist at United Way Bay Area, managing programs to connect young people with employment opportunities, and held multiple leadership positions at the YMCA of Silicon Valley, where oversight of health programs and staff was key. Harleen holds a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor's degree in Health Services from San José State University.
