Lavonna Martin

Lavonna Martin possesses extensive experience in health services and homelessness, with over two decades of service at Contra Costa County, where roles have included Deputy Director of Health Services, Director of Health, Housing, and Homeless Services, Chief of Homeless Services, and Assistant Director of the Homeless Program since November 2001. Prior to this, Lavonna served as Planning and Development Coordinator at the Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa from March 2000 to October 2001 and as Assistant Director at the Homeless Prenatal Program from 1997 to 2000. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master of Public Health in Community Health Education from San José State University, and a Master of Public Administration in Public Management from San Francisco State University.
