Maribel Gibson P.e.

Maribel Gibson, P.E. is an experienced civil engineer currently serving as an Associate Engineer at Contra Costa Water District since November 2022, where responsibilities include managing the design of the Shortcut Pipeline Phase 3 Project and multiple Pipeline Renewal and Replacement Program projects. Prior to this role, Maribel worked at Arup from September 2016 to November 2022 as a Senior Engineer, contributing as Deputy Project Manager for the UC Merced 2020 campus expansion project. Maribel's earlier experience includes positions as Senior Design Engineer at Mark Thomas & Company and Design Engineer at CAD Masters, Inc., where significant contributions were made to transit and roadway projects and the training of engineering professionals in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Maribel holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, completed in 2011.
