Michael Riva

Michael Riva has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Michael started their career at Avnet, Inc. as a Jr. Web Developer from 1996 to 1997 and then worked as a PC/Lan Administrator from 1997 to 2000. Michael then joined IBM Global Services as a Senior System Administrator from 2000 to 2008, where they gained expertise in server administration, virtualization, and large-scale data center migrations. Michael also worked as a Chief Engineer and Technical Solution Architect Team Lead for Avis Budget Car Rental and Wyndham Worldwide Accounts at IBM Global Services. Since 2011, Riva has been associated with Contract Pharmacal Corp, initially serving as the Senior Director of Information Technology and later as the Vice President of Information Technology. In both roles, they were responsible for overall technology direction, day-to-day support of infrastructure, IT-related purchases, and various aspects of network and server management.

Michael Riva's education history includes earning a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) degree in 2002 and a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) degree in 2002. Prior to that, they attended SUNY Stony Brook from 1993 to 1995, where they studied Computer Information Systems. From 1990 to 1992, they attended SUNY Farmingdale and obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies.
