Jeremy McDowell has a strong background in finance and consulting. Jeremy started their career in 2002 as a Sr. Consultant at Navigant Consulting. Jeremy then moved on to Focus Advisory Services as an Intern Associate before joining 2929 Entertainment as a Finance Manager in 2006. After two years, they joined Legendary Entertainment as a Director of Finance, later being promoted to Vice President, Finance. Most recently, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Contract Services starting in 2016.
Jeremy McDowell completed their undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania from 1996 to 2000. Jeremy obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics during this period. Later, from 2004 to 2006, they attended the UCLA Anderson School of Management and earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. The field of study for their MBA is not provided.
Contract Services
In the mid-1960s, the major film studios, in negotiations with Hollywood’s unions, founded the nonprofit Contract Services. Our purpose is to carry out the required provisions of the collective bargaining agreements between the film and television industry’s West Coast Studio Local Unions and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP), which govern the employment conditions of a freelance union workforce of approximately 50,000 people in the greater Los Angeles area. We do this through administering apprenticeship training and safety programs, maintaining seniority rosters, and implementing other industry-wide services.
