Codie A. Sanchez is the Founder, Investor, and Writer at Contrarian Thinking since December 2019. This platform is dedicated to teaching unconventional methods to diversify income and generate wealth. Codie A. is also the Co-Founder of Unconventional Acquisitions since 2021.

Prior to this, Codie served as the EEC Advisory Board Member and Managing Director - Partner at Entourage Effect Capital from 2019 to 2021. Codie A. was also a Board Member for EEC Portfolio Company Arcview Capital during this period.

Codie's previous work experience includes being the Head of Latin America Investments at First Trust from 2014 to 2019. Codie A. played a leading role in building the Latin America & US Offshore Investment Business.

Before that, they worked at State Street as the Director of Institutional Sales from 2011 to 2014, managing investment portfolios for various organizations and navigating regulatory changes. Codie A. also served as an Investment Associate at Goldman Sachs from 2010 to 2011 and as an ETF Consultant & Distribution Specialist at Vanguard from 2008 to 2010.

Codie's career started as an In-depth Investigative Reporter for Mexico at The Arizona Republic from 2007 to 2008.

Codie A. Sanchez pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Georgetown University, graduating in 2013. Prior to that, they attended Arizona State University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Political Science, with a focus on Spanish and Public Relations.
