Samad Arastu

Samad Arastu is currently a Senior Research Fellow at Contrary and is also involved in data strategy at Deer Isle Group, LLC, where they focus on building Beacon Fintech through AI and data engineering. Previously, Samad worked as a delegate for the United Nations and gained experience as a Medical Assistant at R-Endocrinology, conducting patient assessments and analysis. They have also researched endocrine health at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and are currently engaged in neuro research at the Rutgers Brain Health Institute. Samad is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Computer Science at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA.
