Sanjay Ramnath has extensive work experience in the cybersecurity and technology industries. Sanjay is currently working as the VP of Products at Contrast Security since 2022. Previously, they held the same role at NS1 (Acquired by IBM) from 2020 to 2022. Before that, they served as the VP of Products at Arctic Wolf Networks from 2019 to 2020, where they led the product and strategy for the company's security technology and services stack.
Prior to Arctic Wolf Networks, Sanjay worked at AlienVault (Acquired by AT&T Cybersecurity) as the VP of Product Marketing from 2018 to 2019. In this role, they were responsible for global product marketing of a SaaS-based threat analytics, incident response, managed services, and security consulting portfolio. Sanjay also built a strong product marketing team and launched the ATT Cybersecurity business.
From 2008 to 2018, Sanjay held multiple roles at Barracuda (NYSE: CUDA). Sanjay served as the Vice President of Global Product Marketing/Chief of Staff from 2017 to 2018, leading marketing strategy and execution for a cybersecurity and data protection product portfolio. Sanjay also held the position of Vice President of Product Management, Marketing, and Business Strategy (Security) from 2008 to 2017, overseeing product management, product marketing, and strategy for various security solutions.
Earlier in their career, Sanjay worked at Synopsys in engineering and management roles from 2000 to 2007, where they contributed to the development of DFT software tools and test automation tools for semiconductor design.
Sanjay started their career as a Software Engineer at Ramco Systems from 1996 to 1998.
Sanjay Ramnath holds an MBA degree in Marketing and Finance from Santa Clara University, which they obtained from 2003 to 2006. Sanjay also completed a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin from 1998 to 2000. Sanjay Ramnath's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, which they achieved from 1992 to 1996.
