John Wyman

John Wyman currently serves as the Director of Crisis and Security Consulting at Control Risks, a position held since April 2024. Previously, Wyman was the Director of Security Intelligence and Investigations at Smithfield Foods from September 2021 until March 2024 and also founded Quadrigis Group, LLC during the same timeframe. Wyman's extensive experience in the Federal Bureau of Investigation includes roles such as Chief of BAU1 in the Behavioral Threat Assessment Center, where responsibilities involved providing investigative and operational support for complex terrorism-related cases, and Supervisory Special Agent for the Richmond and Washington Field Office Joint Terrorism Task Forces, achieving significant outcomes in threat assessments and investigations. Wyman began early career as a Financial Analyst and Associate at J.C. Bradford & Co., contributing to high-stake financial transactions. Wyman holds a Bachelor of Science in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from the University of Virginia and has furthered education in organizational leadership at Kellogg Executive Education.
